Care tips for the wolf
In principle, the sterling is extremely undemanding, which is why it can often be found in public gardens. For hobby gardeners, here are a few maintenance tips:
- Star cones should always be placed in a soil that is as humus-rich as possible and slightly damp. Alternatively, you can also enrich a normal soil accordingly.
- In late autumn, you should cut off all of the faded stems.
- After flowering, which, depending on the variety, can range from May to October, the starlings multiply by self-sowing. You can also multiply them by division. Simply take an offshoot of the perennial and replant it at another location. (Reading tip: propagating plants - 4 techniques)
